The sE Electronics sE8 is a high-performance small-diaphragm condenser microphone engineered for studio and live applications. With a hand-crafted gold-sputtered ½" condenser capsule, it delivers accurate, detailed sound with exceptional transient response and clarity. The microphone features a switchable –10 dB and –20 dB attenuation pad and dual selectable low-cut filters (80 Hz or 160 Hz) to adapt to a wide range of recording sources—from acoustic guitars and pianos to drum overheads and brass instruments. Housed in an all-metal chassis with a gold-plated XLR connector and minimal self-noise (~13 dB A-weighted), the sE8 is built for professional reliability. The mic is supplied with a clip and windscreen and is available as a single unit or as a matched stereo pair.
